AGREED FRAMEWORK BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND THE DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF KOREA
In Geneva on 24 October 1994 the United States and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea) agreed to work together; to improve certain North Korean nuclear power plants, to normalize political and economic relations, for peace and security on a nuclear-free Korean peninsula, and to strengthen the international nuclear non proliferation regime.
STATUS OF THE AGREED FRAMEWORK BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND THE DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF KOREA
The agreement was completed upon signature in 1994.
